'Gift. app' has been designed to attract a younger; urban demographic to the John Lewis brand. In order to connect this audience with an institution usually associated with high street tradition, I feel it is necessary to meet them on their own turf; the digital domain. In an age where social media is increasingly directing our purchasing habits, Gift utilises existing data to accurately suggest and personalise presents. Gift app is a tool to connect John Lewis with urbanites by offering a high quality, time-saving method for gifting friends and family.
